Two stolen documents returned to Girard College

Two journals by H.J. Roberjot, dated 1809 and 1811, were recovered by the FBI and the U.S. Attorney in Philadelphia and returned to the Stephen Girard Collection at Girard College. Over 160 rare books stolen from London warehouse

Three thieves broke into a warehouse near Heathrow Airport and stole over 160 rare books, including incunabula, that had been scheduled to be flown to the 50th California International Antiquarian Book Fair. The theft took place between January 29 and 30, 2017. The thieves drilled holes in the rooftop skylights and lowered themselves 40 feet on ropes. It
