Update: Suspect arrested in connection with PRPH theft

New York City police arrested fashion photographer Gabriel Hundiashvili on October 5, 2016 and charged him with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property in connection with the theft of two books from PRPH Books in spring of 2016. Hundiashvili appears to be the same man alleged to be the thief captured on security footage from PRPH.

Librarian who stole from the National Library of Ireland receives suspended sentence

Former librarian John Nulty, 37, has received a 2.5 year suspended sentence after pleading guilty to the theft of almost €200,000 worth of rare books from the National Library of Ireland from 2004-2013.
