Dear Colleagues,

As fall arrives and we enter this bountiful season, I want to thank each and every one of you for your past generosity to the RBMS Scholarships fund. This past June, I was honored to attend the Scholarship Awards breakfast, to meet many of this year’s winners, to listen to their testimonies of the value they placed on receiving the scholarship monies and the difference this made for them in being able to invest in their burgeoning careers as special collections professionals.

As you all know, RBMS has always taken and demonstrated an exemplary leadership role among the various sections of ACRL/ALA in the nurturing and support of the new and entry level members of our community. I hope you will take an additional opportunity now and join me in continuing to provide and expand these opportunities through a donation to the Scholarships Fund. Any donation, however modest, counts and assists us in continuing to foster a diverse and expanding community of practice.
